An International Project Meeting Was Held Within the Scope of the EMPACT Project

The international project meeting was successfully held on 21 October 2025 in The Hague, Netherlands, within the scope of the EMPACT project, which aims to strengthen inclusivity in education and enhance teachers’ psychosocial competencies. During the meeting, organized with the participation of project partners, the current progress of the project was evaluated, and comprehensive discussions were conducted on upcoming activities.

Throughout the meeting, particular focus was given to the content, educational materials, and implementation strategies developed to support teachers in addressing grief and loss. Partner organizations contributed to the exchange of best practices by sharing examples from their respective countries.

The program also included detailed planning on steps to improve the quality of project outputs, ensure more effective outreach to target groups, and create sustainable impact. Participants developed a shared vision on strengthening empathy-based educational approaches and fostering more supportive learning environments in schools.

The meeting marked an important milestone in strengthening collaboration and advancing the project’s objectives, while also contributing to increasing the international impact of the EMPACT project.

It is intended that all resources developed within the project will not be limited to project partners but will be made accessible and adaptable for teachers, school leaders, counselors, social workers, and policymakers.
